On December 20 members enjoyed a presentation by Downtown, Inc. and heard about recent accomplishments, ongoing projects, and future developments in downtown York City.
On 12/6/18, representatives of RISE York, a licensed Medical Marijuana Dispensary in York, provided information on the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program, medical conditions that can be treated by Medical Marijuana in Pennsylvania, and the process for accessing Medical Marijuana to address the qualifying conditions. Club President Ken Smith (R) accepts a donation of books to support our Operation Paperback initiative from Michael Smith (L).  Mr. Smith is the Executive Director of the southern branch YMCA of York County.  The YMCA donates approximately 500 books to our initiative which provides books to active members and veterans of our Armed Services.
